It was a disappointing day for the top two as they dropped points.
Chelsea drew 0-0 with Newcastle while Liverpool also drew 0-0 with Fulham.
The Champions Manchester united failed to capitalise on the top two dropping points by yet again another 0-0 draw with Aston villa.
